Chicago Bears Quarterback Rex Grossman Sells His Condo for $2M

Former quarterback of the Chicago Bears and now a member of the Houston Texans, Rex Grossman sold his condominium unit on the 36th floor of Chicago’s Trump International Hotel and Tower for a whopping $ 2,000,000.

Grossman purchased the 3, 437 square foot unit in September 2008 for a much higher price of $2.681 million.  Less than a year after purchasing the house, Grossman placed the unit on the market for $2.349 million and later reduced the price to 2.295 million.

Grossman owns a three-bedroom home in Lake Forest, which he currently has on the market for $849,000.

The property at 75 1/2 Bedford St, New York, NY 10014, which is considered as the skinniest home in New York City has just been sold for $2.175 million.

According to Curbed NY, the original listing price was $2.75 million, lowered to $2.499 million, and then a buyer, whom the identity is concealed, bargained the price down for another 13 percent. The nine-and-a-half-foot-wide house of indeterminate mid-1800s construction date was purchased by Stephen Balsamo for $1.6 million after a bidding war back in 2000.
