Actor Jason Statham has paid $10,625,000 to procure a 3,355-square-foot oceanfront house in the Malibu Colony in Malibu, California.
Built in 1965, it features three bedrooms, four baths, high ceilings and walls of glass, extensive use of beautiful old growth Douglas fir throughout, a living room with an oversized fireplace, a dining area, an oceanfront sitting area, a family room, a gourmet kitchen, a large family room, and a courtyard with a spa tub.
The outdoor features on the 8,708-square-foot lot another 2-bedroom guest apartment with a bath and a 2-car garage.
The actor purchased it from documentary filmmaker Matt Palmieri and closed the deal last May 19 with the deal being recorded on June 17.
The house had been listed for $10,950,000 before the actor paid the deduced price listed above.
Statham, since mid-2005, also owned a 2,281-square-foot house on Rising Glen Road in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, which he had purchased for $2,400,000. Last year, Statham purchased a unit in the Broadway Hollywood building for $1,543,500 which is now listed for $1,195,000.
