Single women are the next largest buyers of residential real estate at 20%, next only to married couples at 61%. This was the result of a survey conducted by the National Association of Realtors. This should give real estate marketers a hint as to which sector to target next time they want to do a marketing blitz.
Real estate marketing seemed to be always primarily targeted for married couples but this survey has shown marketers that there are other opportunities out there. Marketing for single women is however a different game because they have different needs and requirements.
The secret is to get to know what makes single women tick and you will surely sell at least 1 of 5 homes.
