Retired NBA star B.J. Armstrong re-lists his house in Highland Park, IL for $2.374M

Retired NBA star and Chicago Bulls guard, B.J. Armstrong, has relisted his house in Highland Park, Illinois on the market for $2,374,000.

Armstrong just placed the 12-room house back on the market on Oct. 2, for the same $2.374 million listing price.

The features of this 2-storey home include 6 1/2 baths, four fireplaces, a three-car garage and a lower level with a recreation room, a full bar and a bedroom.

The contemporary house sits on a wooded 0.62-acre lot that is about a block from Lake Michigan.

“The house itself is meticulously maintained, and has phenomenal flow,” said listing agent Matt Silver of @Properties. “It’s absolutely in move-in condition.” He also noted that the reason why Armstrong is selling the house is because Mr. Armstrong is now “in a different time of life.”

According to records, Mr. Armstrong first listed the 5,923-square-foot house in July 2008 for $2.95 million and reduced its price to $2.803 million, $2.499 million and then to $2.374 million before pulling the house from the market.

Armstrong paid $1.599 million to buy the then-new house in 1994.
